Working On the Road

Working On the Road

Hi,

My name is Kristi Linebaugh, my business partner Miriam Vigoa and I are a small batch seasoned olive oil company. We have been on the road for 9 years. Yes we already drove the wheels off our first RV :). We travel and do fresh markets and flower shows and art and craft festivals all over the U.S. We just got back from a 10,000 mile tour. We own a small cafe in Winter Haven, Florida called Cafe Latte Coffee House and Eatery, we have had for 16 years. Our olive oil company grew from the cafe we make Canary Island Garlic and Herb Olive Oil. It is a Low Sodium seasoning with only 15mg of sodium per serving, which is so low that if it was 5mg lower it would be considered salt free. Over the years we have stayed in tons of campgrounds and would always end up in great conversations with our neighbors about what we do for a living. Over the last 9 years we have found more shows than we can possibly handle and a customer suggested letting other people sell it for us. It came to me that the RVing lifestyle is the perfect lifestyle to travel to shows and sell our olive oil. You would be amazed at the amount of retired people that we meet at the shows that RV and do craft festivals to add to their income. I would like any info that anybody would like to share with us how we could reach the RVing community to see if there are other RVers out there that would like to make extra money helping us sell our seasoned olive oils. My email is Kristi@vigoacuisine.com.

I will save the story about the time that our air conditioning collapsed our RV roof right in the middle of a freak rain storm in the middle of the Arizona dessert with 70 mile an hour winds, for another day :). Any ideas of how we can spread the word would be so appreciated.

Thank you,

Kristi linebaugh
