Where can we explore in the west during the winter months?

My wife and I are planning on going full time Rving for at least a year and maybe more if we can figure out how to make money on the road. We have saved up and are prepared to quit our jobs in a few months. We plan to hit the road in June of 2012. As I start planning our routes and when we might get to certain places I don't want to waste our winter in the wrong places.

We will be pulling and camping in a 5th wheel camper.

Any suggestions?

Happy Trails

I would stick to Arizona (Roosevelt Lake, Sedona, Cottonwood, Lost Dutchman, Apache Junction)...Texas (never RVed in Texas but have spoken to people who think highly of it)...So. California...Death Valley, LA and south...gets mighty cold in the Dakota's in winter.

Black Hills

I know you will enjoy the Black Hills: Rockerville, Rochford, Keystone, Sturgis, Hill City, Deadwood, Hot Springs, Rapid City. Also the Badlands. There are many places that hire work campers.
