West Coast RV Parks that are the best for permanent long term full-time living?

by Jim
(Oregon)

I am looking for some help in finding an RV park to live in full time for perhaps many years. Because of health reasons I cannot be in an area that is too hot.

I love the Oregon Coast area where it is nice and cool, and so I am hoping some of you have some favorite parks that you could share with me to narrow down my search........Thanks...Jim

Try Honey Bear RV Resort
by: EvFancy

You might investigate Honey Bear RV Resort in Ophir, 7 miles north of Gold Beach (30 miles north of the Calif. border). Most of the full-timer sites are nestled in the trees & separate from the transient sites; quite picturesque.

The owners offer German dinners on weekends during the summer season at the restaurant & sporadically the rest of the year. Best recommendation of all: the owners are well-respected in the GB community.

Relatively short walk to the beach, home of the Black Forest Sausage Kitchen (products made on-site), & the park is pet-friendly. They also lower their rates in winter. It's a great place!

Contact info: www.honeybearrv.com; info@honeybearrv.com; PO Box 97, Ophir, OR 97464; 800-822-4444. (No, I don't have anything to gain by this glowing report; I just really like this place & will be moving there soon.)

Oregon Coast

Ckeck out the Siuslaw Rev park in Florence, Oregon. It is right on the coast. We stayed there for a month. There is so much to see and in the area. Good luck.
