Voting When Using a Mail Forwarding Service

We lived in Michigan all our life and now that we are full time rv'ers we chose a Michigan mail forwarding company in Grandville. However, when we changed our drivers license to Grandville, they automatically change our voting registration. The City of Grandville says we cannot register to vote using this mail forwarding address, so now we cannot vote in upcoming elections. How do other full timers handle this? I realize I could use one of my relatives address, but that would mean they would have to handle our mail also, and I don't want to inconvenience them.
