Snow in RV slideouts - Winterizing my RV

We have no slideout covers. How about snow on them?

Snow and Slide-outs

It's a good idea to keep the tops of your slides clear of snow to avoid leaks of meltwater past the gaskets. I use a step ladder and a 24" stiff floor broom to push and pull the snow, leaves and pine needles off. It also sweeps the concrete pad off, cleans crud off the solar panels and props the middle of the clothesline up on wash day. I either climb to the roof or use a cord tied to the handle to do the super slide.

I hope this helps.
