The wind is whipping the trees, the sky looks wild with a storm on the horizon...I love a storm, always have. Many people don't enjoy nature like we do. I am also not full time yet. I live on 3 acres and I am still not far enough out to not hear lawn mowers, cars, weed whackers. Maybe that is why I stay up until 5am, so that I can only hear the crickets, frogs and see those interesting insects that like my porch lantern. Any ways, Sing Frog Sing! is the first line of my arm tattoo. It goes like this...Sing Frog Sing! Call the rain... I will laugh, dance and play... Replenished once again! When is the last time many people have actually smelled the ground? or took enough time to see some amazing insects come to the lantern? I am not big on long hikes (lol) what would take you 2 hours, would take me 5 hours! therefore I let nature come to me. I have always enjoyed a good storm...even as a child, I recall a tornado coming thru and I couldn't wait to get outside to play in the rain. Mom finally let me go, after the tornado was gone and I was in heaven. Full timing is definitely right for me. I enjoy the little gifts of nature and will for certain be outside at the campfire very late at night to take it all in. The feel of the night breeze. I don't mind hearing giggles of laughter from neighboring campers. Here, at my soon to be sold home, I don't mind hearing the dogs howl, or the rooster crow (and the dog imitating the rooster) they are still part of nature too. Bottom line..No matter your age, or ability...dance and play and laugh in the rain and embrace the wonder of discovery of a child again. You won't be sorry. Kim
