We have a full wall slideout on the drivers side of our motorhome. Because of the length, the SLIDE TOPPER always flops up and down so we feel that we have to pull the slide in if the wind blows. Does anyone know how we can keep the slide topper from flopping a lot? We have already had to replace the Slide Topper which was $500.00 dollars and don't want to replace again.
How long is to long for a slide to be in the out position? What damages might I get if my slide is out for to long? I'm in the military and am possibly moving to another post but am not taking my family so I was considering living in a travel trailer. Trailers with slides offer more space but is the space worth the heart ache of repairs and what not? I currently do not own an RV. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Our 2001 Monaco Diplomat RV moulding problem, when the front slide came out the awning on top rolls out & it is connected to the molding. It pulled out the rivets & moulding for about 5 feet on the end facing the front. How hard of a fix is this & what can I do? Is this a dealer repair?
We have a '97 37' Alfa Gold with two slides. The large one will not retract. There is supposed to be a manual way of doing it but the manual doesn't show location and I can't figure it out. Anyone have any ideas?
