It is a real treat to have this tasty frozen concoction in your RV freezer. Whether enjoying a balmy summer evening or an afternoon at the campsite you'll find this frozen strawberry drink mix easy and delicious...compliments of the RV Cooking Show.

RV Cooking Show's Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri Mix

2 c sugar - super-fine if you have it...if not regular granulated sugar will do fine

1/3 c fresh squeezed lime juice - 2 large or 3/4 small limes
1/4 c water
1 qt fresh strawberries - washed, hulled, and halved

Combine sugar, lime juice, and water in a bowl. Stir well and allow to sit for about 15 minutes or until the sugar is almost dissolved.

Meantime, prepare the strawberries and pace in a blender. Pour the sugar/lime/water mixture over the strawberries and blend until smooth.

Pour mixture into a freezer safe container - I use a freezer storage bag. The drink mix will become the consistency of sherbet and will be easy to scoop.

To make a frozen daiquiri or a margarita place the following ingredients in a blender:

3 T rum or tequila
1/4 c of frozen strawberry mixture
6 or 7 ice cubes

Blend until smooth and ready to drink.

Omit the alcohol for a virgin cocktail if desired.

Use the mix to make a smoothie by adding it to vanilla yogurt, a banana, pineapple or any other smoothie combo you enjoy!

Stir the mixture into sparkling water for a flavorful afternoon delight.

Thanksgiving Dinner in Your RV
by: Sharon

Hi Evanne,

We watched your RV Cooking Show video for making a turkey breast in a crock pot and it sounds great. Don said that we need to try your recipe this Thanksgiving.

Your calendar idea was really fun too. We do something similar with a regular calendar and it's fun to see where we are every Fourth or July!

We've been in some really great places and love reminiscing about those wonderful memories.

Happy Holiday!
Sharon & Don
