Red Light On Rialta Dash

My friend recently purchased a 97 Winnebago Rialta. It has a bb sized red light on the dash in front of the driver which we are unable to determine its function. Manual provides no clue and it is currently lit. Thanks for your help.

With all of the high tech systems added to vehicles over the past fifteen years it could be any number of things. I've had 6-8 vehicles which has had the infamous red light on the dash. Sometimes it's on top of the dash near the windshield, but most are near the top of the instrument cluster.

I would be surprised if it wasn't the security system, or car alarm, just letting you know that it's working. However, I've noticed on all my rides that the light comes on after the vehicle is stopped, not while moving.

Could be that I've totally missed my guess.
