Preparing for full-time Rving

This is my first ever blog post, so I hope I know what I'm doing.

This my husband Norton, as you can see he is ready to retire Ha Ha.. The travel trailer in this photo is the 1st trailer we purchased. It was great for our first one. 2000.00 not bad.

Everything worked it was well kept, I decided to take it on a forest service road that was pretty rough. It ended up popping a front seam and then we found out it had some water damage and the wood was rotten. husband is pretty handy and was going to re-frame it, but it came to be too much work and since he is still working, and made it difficult to get finished.

It has sat in our driveway for 2 years now and I'm done... We just got brought a 5th wheel from some close friends that can no longer enjoy it. It has been kept in climate controlled storage for it's life and we know it is in prime condition for it's age.

We are going to be new to the full-timing screed and I know we have a lot to learn. I have done a lot of research on the problems that come up and getting prepared. We are not however new to the camping and head out to explore new places.

It will only be my husband and my self and I can't wait....What an adventure and experience. I will post a few photos of our new 5th wheel when we go pick it up in Montana next month. We plan to stay a few days and check it out then tow it home to Carnation, Wa.

Wish us luck in our preparation.. I will keep you posted.
