Nitty Gritty About Maintenance

I am a single 62 year old woman, planning to sell my house this summer and start full time RVing next spring. What sort of maintenance am I looking at in an RV? I have never RVed before! I'm thinking of buying a Class C (easier to drive?) and towing a small car. Any general advice??

I have the following up for sale, it might be just the setup for you:

It is a 26' motorhome with two slides. It is easy to drive and park. And I pull a Jeep Wrangler 4x4.

Questions on What to Expect

Just my opinion, if you are buying a new(er) rv, be sure to get the maximum warranty possible and maintain it as often as required, if not before. I look at it as if it might happen to my home,, eg.. furnace needs replaced, water heater needs replaced,, etc. You will have items that need attn., therefore the bigger items should be covered by the warranty, and make sure it is in writing, and if a new vehicle, a universal coverage, anywhere in the USA, Canada, etc. RV insurance needs roadside service coverage. Sit back, dream a little, and head down the road and enjoy life. And if my house sells soon, you may see an ole, (well young at heart) RV'r wave at you as we pass each other, each pursuing our dreams and destination and per chance you are temporarily disabled alongside the road, I will surely stop to see if I can be of assistance... but being as you are traveling alone, and you see me aside the road, just dial 911 and advise them of stranded vehicle... more than likely, I will have called them already..
