New to the full time RV life...

We read up, we thought about, we talked about it but we have 3 kids and a cat. We have jobs, we have more excuses....we have done it! Kind of. I took a p/t workamping job in a near by town (1 hour from work and family).

We commute to work and kids get to stay in same school district, etc. Baby steps seem like a leap so far. I even started a blog for our friends and family to follow (all of course think we are nuts!) You can find us at http://livingwithyogi.blogspot.com/ and please share your advice, especially if you are a family who has already experienced the transition with your kids. Being at a Yogi park they are ok so far but once school starts we are a little concerned about them not having after school time with friends and the long commute to school, etc. The schools near our park are not known for quality education so we are trying to hold off on switching until next year (the high school is pretty good)and the baby can start kindergarten at a nearby Christian school. So far, so good...

We started off with lots of little problems and a lot of heat...115 degrees and the A/C broke, roof leaked, etc. but we are working through the kinks and have not yet really second guessed our decision. We are newbies though so time will tell.
