Home Sweet Home

It's old but home. I'm single and was looking for a cheaper way to live since I work for myself and work a lot of hours. I purchased it from an older couple that really took care of it. It's on a lot next to Buffalo Creek in NC and the rent is only $200 a month and includes water, sewer, cable, and I LOVE IT. I SHOULD HAVE DONE THIS 20 YEARS AGO!

How to make your RV windows seal better.

Learned a great trick from a fellow rv'er. Roll your windows out and from the outside take a rag and some all purpose cleaner and clean the seal that the window contacts with when it's closed. Then take some thin oil like 3 & 1 or 5-w30 motor oil and rub a thin coat on the seal with a clean rag. It makes the seal more soft and flexible and makes the window seal better. I did mine and can tell a big difference in the noise outside. So it should help hold heat an ac better.

There is a lot of us!

There is a lot of us that have made that comment! Good For You. In this economy, everyone should be putting away as much money as they can.

I retired five years ago out of the Army and for the last five years I have been astounded by the wasteful and consumer mentality that those around me are not even aware that they have bought into.
I am single and have decided to rid myself last year of my stick and brick house and move fulltime while I travel and work and collect my pension in a 13ft fiberglass CT13 and I love it.

I should have thought about this the first year I retired!.. now I travel and work/volunteer at national parks and campgrounds as well as visit all those I never would have with the anchor of the stick and brick house... though not for everyone, it's the perfect lifestyle for those on the road or those that want to "Live" with what they make instead of "survive"! Happy Trails!
