My Update To Our Story
(Florissant , Mo.)
John and I had finally purchased a conversion bus. An MCI 8 that was finished on the inside except for varnishing the cabinets. The plumbing was unhooked in the bay, ( and still is). We didn't get far with it and the bus stopped. Into the shop it went and has been there for a few weeks now getting back up to snuff. It had to have a new voltage regulator and some work on the air lines. Frankly, the place we took it to has taken their sweet little time to work on it. When we get it back, it will be good as new.
Now, in the mean time, my husbands liver disease has taken a turn for the worse. We aren't going to be able to use our bus now. :( John is not strong enough to be driving much. He doesn't have the energy to do much physical labor at all.
So we have to sell it now, and John still wants to go to Florida to stay for a few weeks in a hotel until we have to put him on constant care. :(
If you know of anyone who would be interested in a good deal on a conversion bus, please send them my way. We sure are sad about all of this as it would have been such fun.
I plan to keep looking here at your stories...We had gotten rid of almost everything in our house and my niece and her feller are still going to rent it. When we come back to Mo. we are going to rent a small apartment.
Go RVing while you still have your health!
