Jammed Cargo Door Lock

I have a set of exterior cargo compartments on the exterior of my RV that have simple turn-lever locks. When I turn the key on one of these it turns only about 0.5 of the correct amount and then jams. Is there a way of removing the lock from the outside so that the jam can be repaired without damaging the fiberglass door?
