Proper insurance on the house a must!

BEWARE:
Your home insurance probably does not cover much, if anything if you leave it unattended. There is a fine print thing that says something about no coverage if you don't inhabit the place for a certain period. BUT, you can get special coverage, at a price!

I know a person that left their beach house for about 3 months and came back to water damage. Couldn't get a dime from insurance.

We have ADT Alarm Security Service. We spray all around the house with "Home Defense" Bug spray. Installed security Motion Lights (purchased from Home Depot) all around and inside the house. When exiting the house set the alarm, Turn off the water from the main valve outside the house, this eliminates flooding your home if any water pipes fail. Hang the "turn off water wrench" back in the garage, close the garage door and off you go on a safe and happy no worries journey. Enjoy.
