Magic Jack
by: James Anderson

I have used the Magic Jack for about 18 months now and just love it! The setup is super simple, it is a plug and play device.

I also use it with my laptop and wireless connection.

No one has ever known it is through our computer connection just like the Vonage service only much cheaper. I've had Vonage for years before going to the Magic Jack. You just can't beat the price. I love it!

Magic Jack Reviews

Actually we have used the Magic Jack phone service. At the urging of my sister who loves the service we decided to give it a try.

My sister has broad band internet service in her house, and she uses it as her home phone service. When I am talking to her I don't even know she is on the Magic Jack phone.

We used our in several RV parks. The quality is definitely dependent on your internet signal quality. If we had a weak internet signal or one where the signal strength went up and down frequently than the Magic Jack didn't work very well. Our voice would be breaking up similar to a cell phone cutting out.

However, we used in in an RV park that had Hughes Net broadband internet service for their residents and it worked fantastic. Because we had great internet service, we could use it with no issues at all.

It was really easy to setup too. The directions were as easy as plug and play operations, and follow a few online prompts.

One thing we really liked about it was the Magic Jack voice mail. Even when it was not connected and my computer was off I was able to get a voice mail file in my email in-box. So, if my sister called me on that line and I didn't answer because it wasn't connected or I wasn't in my RV she could leave a voice message and I would get an email with the voice message attached.

Then I could retrieve the message when I checked my email. That part I really liked. Especially since we'd move around and my MJ would be disconnected from time to time.

If you have a really good broadband internet signal the Magic Jack works great.
