We are considering selling our home and purchasing an RV. We home school our two children who enjoy the thought of "camping". What would be the best option to purchase? 5th wheel? Bunkhouse? etc...

Is it possible to live in an RV during the winter months in the northern climates? Can the manufacturer insulate them well enough?

Thanks for the website! It only starts my thinking of questions to ask!

Yes it is possible to stay in an RV year round in the northern climates. Make sure you purchase an all season or what they call an Artic RV. You will have far more room in a 5th wheel than a motor home. Some of these 5th wheel rv's even come with bunkbeds in seperate room for the kids as well as a seperate bathroom. Check them out on line or at RV shows before making a decision. My wife and I looked for 3 or 4 yrs before we decided on ours. We have sold the house and are living in ours full time and are loving every minute of it. Good Luck.
