My husband retired early due to company closing, and it took us about a year to sell out and hit the road. We've been on the road four weeks now and loving it.
Parting with our belongings that we spent a lifetime accumulating took some doing, emotionally and physically, but we did it. It's been an adjustment, space-wise, but we've never felt more free!
We left North Carolina to visit my Mom in Winter Haven, Florida, have been making our way through Florida, currently in Pensacola, and headed to New Orleans tomorrow, can't wait! Then on to Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, then who knows.
Would love advice from anyone who has traveled these same roads, or good advice in general from fellow full timers!
