Can't find Class A, B or C at/under 30 feet with washer/dryers? Please share any knowledge!

I am FT time RV'r living in travel trailer now and wanting to purchase a new 30 foot or under class A, B or C. Trouble is I can't find the brands that have washer/dryer option. As much as I love the lifestyle, I'm tired of having to laundry outside of home.

I don't expect to find full capacity, only the washer dryer combo unit option, but can't find it in 30 feet or under? This will be a semi retirement home (RV) and I have luxury taste so I'm ready to pay for what I get. I can't see spending over 100 grand for something without the washer dryer option. Any advice would be most welcome and thank you!

Add it but lose RV closet space
by: Wil

If you can't find a unit pre-plumbed for a washer/dryer unit, do as suggested above. Sacrifice a hanging locker (closet to landlubbers) and have it installed. It'll only cost $1500 or so.

Of course, SWMBO and I could get 3 years of washateria visits, meet hundreds of locals and fellow RV'rs, make some lasting friendships, buy fresh water and dump our tanks, sate the junk food bug, grocery shop and complete other errands requiring some semblance of civilization.

Then again, your average RV washer load uses about 16 gallons of water, which adds 16 gallons of effluent to your tanks (did you know many municipalities consider washer water as septic waste, requiring treatment prior to discharge to ground?) that will have to be hauled to town for dumping that much sooner.

As a boondocker who often purchases water in 10 gallon increments, allowing up to three weeks between trips to a dump site, the thought of coping with with that many town trips makes me question your commitment to picnicking. The boss of the family, on the other hand, thinks having our own washer and dryer to be the Cat's Meow. Why, I can't fathom -- I do most of the laundromat trips!

RV Washer / Dryer
by: buckeye6977

We have a 37 ft 5th wheel and are full timers. We had a washer and dryer put in it and love it.The unit cost 1500 installed. Well worth the expense and has more than paid for itself.
