We pull a Dutchman Aerolite 19QB with our 4 Runner (5000lb limit). Love it, it has lots of storage space, an oven, and other amenities. Don't think I could do it full-time in that size.

Also looking for lightweight for FT RVing.

I have a 2011 Ford F150 4X2 with a max towing capacity of 5700lbs. Thanks for the Coachmen recommendation! I have also been interested in the Keystone Passport UltraLites that many are below 4,000lbs dry weight. Also just looked at Gulfstream's Visa. Very lightweight trailers ALL below 3,000lbs. There's a lot out there now in light weight trailers. The only question for you is your space needs for FTiming. Good luck in your search! I'm right there with ya!

Lots of Choices

..have you looked in to the "Casita's" at all? You can Google them. I have a Coachman 19 footer max weight is 5725 but I'm no where near that, and never plan on being near that either. I like to travel light.

Dry weight for the 19 foot Coachman Freedom Express is 3520, around there. Max is a bit over 5700. The Casita's are 17 footers and weigh a lot less but they are made to order and take a few months.

You can also Google 'ultra light weight trailers' and see all the different kinds that show up.

The Best to you...
