My 1995 Winnebago Rialta bathroom faucet that is for both the sink and shower leaks at the base quite a bit. Has anyone replaced one of these?

I need to replace the bathroom sink faucet.

How do I get access to the hose connections which are way up inside a small recess reachable from the external shower hose compartment?

You're Not Alone

In case you haven't already found out, go to Sears or a plumbing jobber and buy a Faucet Wrench. This looks like a jaw from a pipe wrench, mounted on a swivel at the end of a length of tool steel.

At the other end there is usually a slide bar and or a square end cap to attach a socket wrench to. Do a search on Amazon for "faucet wrench" so you can see what I am referring you to.

Insert the wrench end carefully, using a mirror to see where you are going. I highly recommend you practice on a hose attached to a sill cock until you can position the wrench and unscrew the hose while blindfolded.

Unscrew the supply lines and then remove the castle nut which secures the bottom of the faucet to the sink. Reassemble in reverse order, making sure you attach hot and cold supply lines appropriately or someone may get scalded.

Good luck.

I had to replace our faucet in our Rialta of the same year. The way I did it was going thru the outside shower door.
